It went for 30 grand so i guess it is worth 30 grand. Seems like a good deal to me i thought i heard of one selling for like 75k+ a couple years back.

from what i understand it had been sitting for 10 years, in that time the seals had gone bad and the internals practically rotted, to get this marlby fixed would cost anywhere from 50+, if done by the original marlby people etc.. That is why it was so cheap.
Dont get me wrong, call anywhere to fix it but it will only ruin the value of the truck! HTH

Why would it cost $50k to replace the seals? I understand that things dry out but damn. There was a '69 Corvette (427) that recently sold for $125K+ with like 2K miles on it.

I still think it was a steal. Who's to say that the 600 odd miles weren't put on during the last 13 years in order to keep things lubricated????

Why would it cost 50+ to fix? It's still a syclone engine, seals are seals. Sounds like steal to me. I was considering it but I have no where to park it. I would had to sell my syclone first.

I would have found a place to store it man. There is a guy by me who has a climate controlled garage for his Ferrari collection and Im friends with the guy who helps maintain it :) Could have worked something out.

yeah well, I only have so many stacks of cash laying around. I didnt wanna go do anything crazy and start missing one of my big fat piles of cash that are all around my house.
