99% I cant recharge ac so i have to farm that out everything else including interior, paint and body is done by me. If I dont know how to do it ill take a class and learn

All of it. My other cars too. And the lawn mowers, appliances, furnace...

I am the only one who has ever touched my truck with a wrench except for the mounting of new tires.

I do pretty much all of it expect for all of the trans rebuilds and mount/balance tires.

I try and do as much as I can... If I can't, I have others that know what they are doing show me how. If I don't have the tools/space for the job, then I pay. :tup:

the list of things I don't do is very short.
Engine machining
Trans rebuild
Everything else if I cant do it at home I have connections to use tools machines to get it done myself.

I do everything (except for having GM do a 1/2 hour radiator flush on their machine)... just don't trust anyone else!

my favorite part is body work, i get to hit my truck with a hammer, just not as hard or with as big a hammer as i'd like

It has been over ten years since I have taken any vehicle that I own to a garage for work. The only item that I haven't gotten really dug into is transmission rebuilding. Besides with my job if I can't get what I need, I just design it and make it now

I don't like paying for someone else to screw up of break my stuff.
Since I work for free it's a good deal.
