went to steele, mo today and made several half passes to make sure the motor was ok. the 3rd pass went 9.004@151, 5.78@122, 1.39 60'. 6 lbs off the line, 23 lbs of boost max. once again didnt go perfectly straight as the video will show, but made it down the track in 1 piece

for those of you who would like to come to memphis and watch, we will be at the memphis motorsports thursday for test n tune or sat b4 the bracket racing starts. if you want more info and the for sure day we're going email me at matthoover34@hotmail.com we're gonna turn the boost up a pound or 2 and shoot for an 8.9X. :tup:

8's = inevitable. Get GOOD video of that pass if you can (maybe multiple camera angles if some SyTyers show up.)

Reminds me of when BG was going for 10's back in the day and ran a bucketload of 11.0s in a row.

Congrats Matt/Doc!! BTW, the truck wagging its tail a little just gives you something to do rather than fiddling with the radio while your waiting on the finish line ;) .

personally... i wouldn't want to go that fast jim and matt... you just don't get enough out of your entry fee money when you go that fast down the track.... a lot better to run in the 12's or something. you can look around and watch things go by, wave at people, all that stuff. going 9 flat you gotta hang on and focus and steer and all pay attention... what fun is that...?

seriously... that's dang fast and i'm happy for ya'll. the motor sound good. you guys really listen well :D

8's wont be long now... just a matter of time and cool weather

Watching that made my tranny cringe. 8's are there with better control outta the gate, BTW how many sets of underwear do you bring to the track with you?

thanks everyone! it was i lil hard to control bc we have new traction bars that we havent gotten set exactly right yet. and yes the cage is a concern of mine bc of how fast the truck is running rite now. dad and i have talked a lot dealing with upgrading and making it safer.

we really dont have an tire spin after the launch or i dont feel it if we do?

as for the tire size, ive had several people ask me this same question (mr les sorry)and my dumba$$ keeps forgetting to look. i'll find out first chance i get and let you guys know.
