I ran mine at the track at least once a month! Planning to do the same whens its all finished!

Been there - done that - got the t-shirt.
Ran some 11.6+ a couple of time last year on about 20 #. This year I'm intentionally running in the 12s so I don't have to worry about the motor.

I would like to Drag Race more than a couple times a year, but with my Current power level I've been breaking drivetrain parts. That's why I'm Building a Engine and goin 80e this winter.

What do you consider a regular basis to be? I use to go to the track twice a week, until it closed. Now, I don't have any where to run that doesn't make you roll through water to get to the starting line.

Well that's a bummer. Won't let you drive around the water box? Weird. How do the street cars race? Anyway, Sonoma runs a Wednesday night series during the spring, summer, fall, plus a few "bracket race" weekends. Sometimes 2 day sometimes only one day. often on holidays, just last July 4th for example.
I try to make all the Wed night races and most of the weekend races. On Wed one of the classes is "jackpot", $10.00 buy in. Make it to the semi's and you at least get your money back. Track adds to the pot. Make it to the final (I've done it once, very competitive) and it's winner take the pot of as often happens the two in the final split the pot.
I want to win of course but mostly for me it's my night out with the guys...

Ran flat on its face after 2nd gear... bad ECM timing way off. Need to go back sometime to see how it runs now. First and only race at the track for me so far.
This run was against a newer dodge crewcab 1/2 ton. Guy said only mods were speed limiter turned off. Whatever. My truck is number 1006
