Re: E85 section

Hey guys,
I was wondering if it would be worth the effort to create a subforum dedicated to the gathering of information and experiences of this subject. You know, like the 4l80e subforum.
Stuff like minimum size fuel pump for 60# injectors, for example or best anti corrosion practices. General info would be great to compile. I'm on the fence on this conversation due to the time effort and funds I've put into getting this truck to run as it does. As soon as I have specific questions I will post them up to benefit from your expertise.

I mean it's not really a conversion. Depending on your setup you need a minimum of 80lbers and a 340 pump. You can run stock fuel lines and rails. That setup is capable of low-mid 11s. 450 pump for 10s and 120lbers. The Corrosion with E85 is a myth. The fuel itself doesn't corrode, it's the Alcohol that has the ability to absorb water which then causes issues. Change your fuel filter regularly and store it well for winter and you'll be fine.

So - all the fuel lines, injectors, FPR and etc. are withstanding the alcohol and no modifications are not needed specially for alcohol, besides the ones above for larger injectors, better fuel pump (and tuning ofc)?

Re: E85 section

I personally have larger fuel lines due to my stock lines were in bad shape. I know a handful of guys with stock lines and stock style regulator with no issues for a couple years now.
