I think that is the Griffin CCHE.
Your temps won't be any lower than stock. They may stay at that lower temp for longer with this unit, but you shouldn't expect any HP improvement. Think of it as a 'consistency' mod.
well i wasnt really looking for any HP improvment, just cooler intake temps
ive rerouted the lines, on my stock setup twice, now i have the upper IC wrapped with heat shield, the lines rerouted through the driver side fenderwell, with no kinks, and the temps still wont drop below 130*. i got a spal fan on the back of the cche and my jabsco is hotwired and fully functional..
i think the stock cche and the upper IC have some corrosion build up in there or something, limiting maximum flow... my upper IC has never done 'the whirlpool' when i take the cap off... and last time i took the heater hoses off the back there was a chalky residue almost like clay blocking half the holes??
id like to get my intake temps lower/normal before throwing alky into the mix.
