E Eluding New member Apr 15, 2002 #3 I'm at 5,800ft and the lowest I've raced at is 4,900ft. Altitude will effect a turbo vehicle much less than an N/A car. At 5,800ft an N/A engine will lose about 20% of its horsepower. A turbo engine will only lose about 8%.
