Re: engine mounts

Put solids on mine. make sure you scribe A line around the motor mount before removing so you know were it goes when reinstalling it. SOB to change. first undo the front diff. bolts. ( just the diff. bolts that mount to the frame) will drop down just enough to get to the nuts underneath. 15mm. nuts. once diff. bolts removed, get A friend to turn the bolts on top while your under the truck holding the nut with the 15mm, wrench. I had to put the wrench in the vice & bend it A little to get to the right angle to get on the nuts. just hold the wrench on the nuts & let the person on top turn the bolt. It is about 45min. & A 6 pack of beer to switch out the motor mounts.

Enjoy!!

Re: engine mounts

Well what I did (and I have a thread somewhere as well but I'm tired) is remove the front dif SUPPORT bolts, leaving drive-line and half-shafts in place. By doing that the dif will rock forward giving you enough room to swap the bolts. In the end, IMHO, it's less total work and allot easier on the frustration level.
