Engine noise

Ok, I thought in a JL amp with fancy circuitry, and I still can hear the motor (although a whole lot quieter).

What should I do? big alternator 140amp? I get a good discount at napa, so if anyone knows a part number to one, that would be awesome.

add a better engine ground? maybe from the alternator to the frame? it can double as a tie down.

MSD distributer, coil, 6a? what do I need?

what kinda noise is it? loud clicking could be the fuel injectors. and that is typical of syty's

it sounds like he's talking about alternator feedback/interference in his stereo.

this should really be moved to the electrical forum if thats the case since it would have nothing really to do with the engine at that point.

i just ran a whole new harness/relay for my stereo. the factory harness sucks IMO.
