This upcoming week we will be shipping a 92 Typhoon engine to TPIS for a rebuild. Because it may (or may not) be used in a project vehicle in the shop, we would like to do a mild build. In other words, the more crazy we get with a build, the harder it is to sell later because of the costs involved. I'm simply looking for suggestions here.
What we have
What we do not have
The plan is to put the crankshaft through a nitride treatment, identify a better-than-stock camshaft (suggestions?), forged pistons, and new rods.
Any recommendations on a mild build?
Thanks!
Mike
