Some pics of the new engine. Slightly more bling bling than before. Most visible bolts are chrome plated allen head.

Ken, Jeff's dad, custom cut an EGR block-off plate on the fly for me. Thanks Ken.

The truck received a quick tune from Jeff and Paul, the Code59 masters. It can now run 16 pounds of boost with 0 degree knock retard.

When we got into boost on our test runs, we heard a loud whistling noise coming from the front of the truck. It turned out we forgot to connect the vacuum line from the charcoal canister to the front of the throttle body. Even with the big 58mm throttle body and the disconnected vacuum line, the truck still idled pretty smoothly. It idles even smoother now with that line connected.

What is that ceramic coat finish called that is on your exhaust manifolds, DP, and turbo?

Also is the compressor housing on your turbo polished? Your engine looks great!

So we missed 1 AC bracket and 1 hose....not too bad. I kindof liked the whistle Richard, let people know to move out of the damn way.

His AC compressor has a cover, hopefully he can post brand of cover it is.

I don't remember what that ceramic coat finish is called. It was done for me a while back by my previous engine installer.

The compressor housing on my previous turbo is polished. My current Stage 1 turbo from jwaller doesn't have a polished compressor housing.
