engine trouble

my Syclone wont rev it stumbles whenever i hit the throttle and doesn't want to go over 3000 RPM its starting to make me mad ive replaced the cap rotor and wires also the coil its giving me any codes and my check engine light works whenever i unplug the TPS. Has anybody had this problem and could it be the distributor itself or the ignition module

Something to check:

Pull the Cap and take a look at the wires connected to the Ign. Module inside (2 wires). See if they are corroded or even not connected from corrosion eating thru them. it will still run but it will drive you crazy trying to find out what is wrong...I had this happen on mine with similar symtoms.

well the two wires are there and fine but the internals are rusted and the rotor seems to be burnt on the tip its brand new the vehicle has two fuel pumps internal and external the external one is working but not to sure on the internal not to sure its driving me nuts

im also getting a weird noise out of my exhaust and my exhaust note is very faint for a 3'' pipe and no muffler im thinking my cat might be clogged
