I have tuned race cars with both fast & BS3, but I don't have it on my Sy. Just code 59 baby!!!

+1 here. Are you enjoying trying to tune the 80e yet with bs3? pain eh?

I don't run the BS3. I run the FXI.

The reason I asked the question is that David Henninger is going to be in Nashville this weekend and could possibily make some schedule changes and do some tuning at the track on Saturday.

ah...that'd be sweet to have him there. Is this pro-bono tuning, or charging a fee...any idea?

Re: F.A.S.T and BS3 users...

There would be a fee. He would probably split it up between several trucks if he has enough trucks to look at. He does this for a living. If there is an interest then I will push for some time and costs. I am not going to bother him about coming unless there is some interest.

There always seems to be several that are wanting some tuning done. This is an opportunity to put something together.

i would definitely want to hit him up, as long as he doesn't charge $1k/hr or somethin.

Re: F.A.S.T and BS3 users...

I just spoke to Dave.

He can do the day for $500 plus $100 for rental car and $200 for part of the airline ticket. He is tuning a race boat in Nashville on Friday and can be at the track for us on Saturday. $800 total is a great deal for the day as he charges $500 for a partial track day at Milan. For those that have minor tuning issues to clear up $50-$100 would be money well spent. For those that have major tuning to do and need several passes to dial it in I am thinking $100 - $200 would be in the ball park. We could also divide it up by time spent to make it fair.

I know when I go to Milan it cost me the track fee, the cost to get there and then the tuning cost. We have a chance to have him there with out an additional track fee and cost to get to Milan.

Lets' get a count and how much tuning each thinks they need.

John, I use F.A.S.T but I won't be going to NATS

And if I were to make it, I would need about 100 hours of tunning. :rotf:

John...will you be one of the *users*?

$800 / 3 = $270/each

A great price none the less...but unless we can get one or two more to chip in, I will have to pass right now...shoestring budget..

I will pitch in for some time. I have had David tune on mine the last couple of weeks, and it fairly well set at low and medium boost levels. We will probably take the boost up a little.

Jamie Hacking will take a block of time so the price will come down. Those with less time should not have to spend as much as those taking more. There will be others.
