Fabricated IC scoop.

Re: Fabricated IC scoop.

I'm still interested in one unless the cost is CONSIDERABLY more that what it would cost to make it myself. I don't wanna "curse" interest in this but if material will have to be purchased, the cost is going to go up quite a bit... I had a strong feeling that the material was "free" given the initial price. Basically you were just looking for your step dad to get paid for his time and to cover shipping costs. I don't know if you have checking into shipping costs yet but that isn't going to be cheap either since it's a decent sized part. Even though it don't weigh much. I don't expect to get this for free, you and your step dad's time are worth something ;). Let us know what ya find out on final price.

Yeah I agree with all you said. I will let everyone know. If he had free scrap I would still have sold them for $20 shipped just to help another sytyer out.

Not to put cold water on a hot item but wasn't there a scoop that was made from a plastic trash can?

morgan's scoop isn't just a cut & bent scoop...its a more detailed fabrication, thus more expensive.

Yeah Captain Morgan's scoop is powder coated and painted. Thats not a cheap process.
it's more than just that. it's a cut/machined/welded/machined/powdercoated scoop.

Re: Fabricated IC scoop.

I have an update and it sucks. The parents went on vacation for a week. I will ride his ass when he gets back to get the scoops done.
