Re: Factory Alignment Specs

My :2cents: , some have had good luck with the enhanced spec's & some like myself have not.

I rebuilt the entire front end; axles, bushings, ball joints, inner & outer tie rod ends, pitman & idler arms & steering box.
I took it to the shop and had them set it up with the enhanced spec's. After about 3k miles I noticed a lot of inner tire wear which I attribute to the increased camber.

Re: Factory Alignment Specs

I suspect most of the people that didn't like the enchanced over GM was not due to specs but how well the alignment was done. I don't disagree with the specs, but have my own that are slightly different.

As Dave said I run zero camber (tilt of tire as you look from front of vehicle).
I like to run as much caster (angle between the upper and lower balljoint) as possible. More caster truck WANTS to go straight. If you are into road course, autocross you might not want that much caster. I think my truck has 7 deg caster right now which helps it want to go back straight when it gets sideways on the launch.

I also agree with Dave in I run just enough toe-in to not get a wander feel to it, no more.
