I will be in Franklin next week....June 9th ---I can make the truck available to look at any night that week....I will not be in town for the weekend...I have to be up at Center Hill Lake on weekends. The Yellow Truck needs some expert advice....Robert....Radio1111@aol.com

Bracket is only on L35 equipped trucks. You can have mine if you want it.

Removal of the airbox should be the fist thing an owner should do anyhow. Just put a K&N cone on the end of the tube.

Jimmy, if you can swing it, let's just drive down one day soon. I'd like to see the yellow Sy, meet the owner and help him out if possible. Any morning is fine with me and if you wanna drop off your vehicle at Trane, I can swing you by there about 2:30 on the return trip so you don't miss work.

I don't think that is the reason....Robert is trying to return his Syclone to as near stock as possible (probably for reliability reasons) and Jimmy has the piece he needs. Reason enough for me to make a short trip with Jimmy to Franklin if he can swing it .

The yellow syclone looks good. I took some pictures of it. I may try to post them eventually. I even drove the typhoon just for the heck of it.

Wow...it looks really good! JimBob said it still has some mechanical issues. Judging from the looks Im sure its just a matter of time before he gets them all worked out.

WOW...Thanks for the nice comments, that means a lot from guys like you that know what you are talking about. I wasn't aware anyone took pictures. Everything now works, air, heat, dash board etc with the exception that the "ABS Light" stays on. There is a Knock in the engine so we all know that it needs some serious help. I am looking for an expert to call or write me and tell me to "Bring It In".....Because this is such a nice truck, I feel compelled to get the engine "Dnoie Right." ....If you know anyone contct me at Radio1111@aol.com or call me at 615-591-0172....Robert with the Yellow Syclone..

I would highly recommend McCoy Motorsports http://tobefast.com for a rebuild. I don't think they actually work on the trucks anymore,but the should be able to hook you up with a good longblock.

I have one from them,has over 100k on it,runs okay too.

Ashman...Thanks for the kind word. If I can now get the engine rebuilt, I will be in good shape.....Robert in the Yellwo Syclone (Yellow Grows on you...I have a yellow Chevy SSR as well.)
