Well the Daytona meet was cool, aside from replacing my alternator and battery in the parking lot (thanks Gary/Doug for helping and the Georgia guys for your set of tools). The beach was ballz hot...... Dont forget to hose down the underside of your trucks!! Yeah i'd be game for an orlando meet again in june/early july. You guys should have hit up the little car gathering out on a1a late sat. night. Im sure some of ya'll coulda had a nice little race with some f-bodies. Jeremy schooled some c5 with his viper. I also raced him a couple times and not only did he pull on me HARD through first and second, but he even launched harder out of the hole.

not the most fun meet ive had considering I lost the AC in Chromeboy, me and Hood fought to get ChromeBoy to the beach after trying to emmulate the chip and the ECM went nuts causing the truck to buck and basically die every 3-4 minutes (try that in the middle of HEAVY traffic), and almost having to beat some old guys ass on the beach about us parking in front of his beach chair.
at least the GA boys made me laugh with their southern accents....the drunker they get, the worse the accent gets.
overall, it was nice to see some new faces....hopefully we'll start seeing everyone on a more regular basis.
time to start coordinating the Miami Wrench Session at Garys, which is always a good time (lots of cool cars on tap that Gary can call up and have come over)

All of us GAST guys had a great time as well. We look for any excuse to get out and do something and this was well worth the trip. Glad to finally meet some of you guys and put a face with a name. And, as always, it was good to see the OGs as well (Gary, Rob, Ian, Doug, Adam, Greg, Keith, Jordan, Jeremy, etc....). I didn't get any pictures and my video is on my dvcam (which I left in Adam's truck), so I can't contribute there.
I wish we coulda had more time parking on the beach or in one localized place other than the parking lot, but as crowded as it was and as hot as the beach was, that was nearly impossible.
A few of things I learned:
- Adam's truck will break.
- Wait to do emulating on Adam's truck when you're near the hotel.
- Ian still makes me laugh.....a lot.
- You guys sound horribly redneck......j/k.
- The lot next to the Days Inn has about 400 beer bottles thrown in it.
- Never clap when Adam's is about to leave in his truck....he'll beat your ass.
- Tim's truck is very fast!
- Jordan is still the coolest person I know.....well, next to Gary. (see what I mean)
- Some Florida women are just as bad as Georgia women.
- It was good to see Chromeboy again.
- It was good to see Ty1985 again (Bobby's truck).
- Jonathan can drink like a fish.
- Tyson's truck is INSANE!
- My right arm is burnt! (see what I mean)
Time to organize a GAST meet now, but I hope we (FAST & GAST) can get together once every year or so.

Yea i had a freaking blast
it was a good chance to get out of the little shit hole town i live in
but there is1 thing i am going to remeber about the trip that is the registration woman becasue she was nasty as hell i think i was the only unfortinate sole who saw here nasty tities becasuse she didn't have a bra on and bent over when i went to sign in when we frist got there.
but it was greating getting to put alot of people names to faces and getting to hang out.
but i will get some pics up sometime
some of the pics turned out good.
oh also will not forget that i almost got cought doing 110 trying to caught a ac cobra on the interstate and then when we were frist getting to the hotel a cop was tailing me the whole time and then truned off when we pulled into the hotel it was funny.

is it amazing how much a short while on the beach will turn my white ass into a redneck....
was great to meet up with everyone... and see my first syclone, much less the '92 :lol:
trucks broke down, as expected :banghead:
but mine ran pretty well... and now has over 191k miles!
on to the oil change now!
thanks for the ign shit hood, but i didn't see you having a problem with taking my money :rotf:
though 60$ would have been cheap for the tuning lesson anyway...

Man, after seeing the 92. I had a dream saturday night that I saw a pure silver one in a local dealer down here for sale. They didnt know what they had and I was just about to buy it and teese everyone on the board with pics, THEN I woke up.:rant:
The meet was fun. We do need to have a bigger get together more often. I cant wait for the meet in Miami at Gary's either!!!
