Jordan and I will be there Saturday in my Syclone, maybe even by Friday night.
I think Jeremy will make it there Saturday as well, probably in his Viper.

Annual Miami Wrench Session
Annual Miami Wrench Session
Its time to get geared up for the Annual Miami Wrench Session held at Gary Shanocks.
The date is tentatively for January 23-25th. (My birthday is on the 23rd. I expect gifts....and by gifts, I mean a Typhoon...and by Typhoon I mean a 93, not a 92....I guess I wont be picky on colors, but royal/aspen/garnet is preferred).
This will be a meet that you DO NOT want to miss. Gary is finishing up his custom built garage that is 2 stories, dual bay door and equipped with 2 lifts, air compressor and tools of the trade. Some of us have seen the pics, and its sick. Gary's house does not look the same from last time most anyone was there. So if you have mods or fixes needing to be done, heres the place to do it. Plenty of experience to go around and most of us have done the typical mods and projects. We arent scared to turn wrenches. If there is a car show that weekend, we usually cruise out to it...and by cruise, I mean me and gary will drive at triple digits if given the opportunity.
Also, since FAST has moved up in our food selection (we've gone from fastfood/pizza and have been doing steak/kickass BBQ the past few meets), the rumors I hear is we are doing lobster for this meet. Yeah....thats right, thats how we do it at FL SyTy Meets. Dont hate us, move to FL and join us. :tup:
With that, while we usually never ask, we would like for everyone who plans to attend and feast to donate $5 minimum to help offset food cost.

Yeah, seems the past few years, its been the same weekend. I will say though, its gonna be hard for me as well... Ive got alot going on in Jan every week with stuff and the 23rd is my bday....Rox isnt to excited that she might not be able to be with me for that. With the current date, Im trying to figure out who can watch my kids so Rox can go with and hang out.
The final decision for changing the date is Gary's call since its at his place.

We do that weekend because it is the off weekend between the NFL championship games and the Superbowl. A lot more people expressed they didn't want to miss that than concerns about Daytona. We could move it to February or March, I have a few open dates in there if the majority wants to. Daytona will be on my TV whenever there is live coverage.

We do that weekend because it is the off weekend between the NFL championship games and the Superbowl. A lot more people expressed they didn't want to miss that than concerns about Daytona.
