Fast S10s in Northern NJ?

Just curious-

My brother had a run in with an S10 pickup, purple he said, that gave him a run for his money at highway speeds (50+). Rt. 46 in Ledgewood, NJ. He drives a lightly modified (high-12s) LS1 Z28. Said it sounded like it had a supercharger on it. If he could hear it over his Flowmaster exhaust, it must've been loud. Looked like a Mad Max-mobile (his words, not sure what that means).

My buddy has a pretty sick s10 pu, it's purple with tan racing stripes. He may have been around Ledgewood.

I'll have to ask my bro about the racing stripes. He was able to pull away from it, but had to go uncomfortably fast past the Roxbury Police barracks :smile:
