Federal Heater Hose

I was searching the internet for hosing for my truck and stumbled upon this site : http://www.mcmaster.com/ They have umpteen million things for any purpose, from vacuums to cabinets; they even sell hoses and hose clamps in just about every style you can imagine, its pretty neat. Along the way I stumbled upon this federal heater hose, high temp, normal pressure blue silicone with red inside; extra smooth and definately looks nicer than the black I was using and since I used some 5/8 instead on 3/4 i went ahead and swithed out my hose for this.

I had the top end apart and when I put her all back together I unfortunately used Dex-Cool which, from users telling me, I have discovered its crap and I shouldnt be using it. So, the main reason for the switching of the hose was that I was going to have to change the coolant so I figured might as well not get dirty 2x for 1 project.
Im about to be finished and take a shower then clean up the truck and take some pics for my thread: http://www.syty.net/forums//showthread.php?t=49779 more to come.

ps- tell me what you think of that hose and of that site, im open for opinions as always; thanks gents!

I never knew about this place, freaking 160k sq. ft wharehouse, really big operation.
(just looked it up, theyre all over the country /DOH)

yeah same for me, if only it were black like this, blues the only option :( A nice and shiny black would look real nice.

Get the plasti dip stuff for tools it will stay on the hose, even when you flex it

cause that isn't a shitload of wasted effort and time.

I cant really see the blurrry red and blue thing... But in studing the picture I will say that you should spend some time on your lawn as well as on the truck. It looks like you have a nasty fungus taking over your lawn... :)

Now take a picture with it on your truck!

eh, that pic was showing only the layered structure. I guess you maybe want to see the inside of it for smoothness? Its smooth/slick ill get a better pic.

My lawn; HOW DO I FIX THAT? help!
my gardener sucks, and if anything uses maneur which is like 100% nitrogen, the lawn suffers from a bad gardener for many years. This area in perticullar is highly trafficed so I am going to wait untill next season to rip it up and replant (like i had to do in the far backyard :( ) But it, yes, seems to have something attacking it, what can be done?

Go buy some sod. Something like dwarf fescue that can handle hi-traffic & is draught tolerant.
