Finally a syclone owner

hey guys and gals


I thought i would take a minute and share my excitement. I bought sy# 2441 from the bacdoc today and aftermuch hell of trailoring it from WVa to NC int he torrentcial rain and fog it's finally home.



Thanks NCtyphoon and nctyphoonkid for the company on the journey there and back.



And of all the places for my truck to have come from. and small city in Wva named Hurricane. I think the hurricane followed me home too..

Congrats on a super purchase. That truck was well worth the selling price and had I not had so many vehicles, it would have been in TN months ago but at a point in life, one has to come to a realization when enough is enough .

i'm really enjoying the truck. I drove it all day sun and theni went to a friends shop and pad balanced the wheels and tires. It rides and drives so much better. I then started the detailing stuff.

do you know of richard clark? i was over at his place in alamance county sun with the sy. I will probably be going back to his place this weekend to work on the sy.

Hey Slo, welcome to the club... you're gonna have fun! Tell Richard that Rob says "Hi", and bug him about the 'info' he's supposed to be getting me! Oh, ask him if he has a good, spare GN motor he wants to get rid of... I've got a little project brewing!

Well i doubt that getting richard to part with anything that has to do with a 86-87 GN. But i will stay on him about it. Thanks i'm proud to be here. But i gotta say they are touch to work on. I had a hell of a time replacing the front dash speakers :rant: such a tight space. but after buying 2 sets of speakers and modding the speakers i got them in there.

yea i might try and talk to him if he can tune or does good engine work not sure if he does but ive deffinately seen a few GN's around doesnt help to have someone who knows turbos me and my dad havent messed with those before

Things aren't too bad down this way, we are finally getting some rain. Where is the next meeting and when. Did Vern tell you we went to a Cruise In at BOJ's this past Saturday? Did you put some fotos on the group?
