After about 8 months of searching, I was able to trade my 96 Softail for 93 Typhoon #0087. The body is in great shape and the interior was well cared for. Its bone stock with 59k miles, so I have a nice clean slate to start with. A HUGE thanks to Brian Green (SMEAGOL) and his brother Mike, for going out there with me to get it and getting me started. Also a big thanks to Tooky (Josh) for the pre-inspection and datalogging 150 miles away! I hope the pics work.......:tup:

A big thanks to the SYTY.net classifieds for making my WTT ad happen. Also a :tup: to those of you that chimed in on this truck a month ago when I was looking and for the syty.net VIN check and carfax!!!

beautiful truck! Super clean. Not a fan of the Typhoon windshield decal because it doesn't match the gold lettering on the truck and the blue vac lines clash with the red paint. Just some minors details, but over all it looks great! Now get your AAA roadside assistance membership and jack stands and you'll be an official Ty owner!

Thanks to all the compliments! The banner is gone already and I got a "trunk monkey" as an anti-theft:D

Anyone used the Chip Foose wheel polish ball for doing wheels? Its made by Mother's. Seems the last owner sprayed some type of harsh wheel cleaner on it that stained. It will come off with alum. polish, but takes ALOT!!!! of elbow grease. I hope to have those wheels looking new soon.....
