Excellent workmanship, Morgan! It is seamless, much better than the way GM installed them in the T/A.

When are you going to open up Morgan's Muscle BodyWorks? :)

to be honest, my old man is jealous now. I talked to morgan a good time ago about this when it was in the planning stages.. Turns out he had the same idea my dad did with his truck.

He took the scoops to a shop about 2 months ago and they told him that they wouldn't/couldn't do it...

I know hes really itching to get it done now that hes seen morgan's. I'm trying to convince him to go get a fender and start abusing it, but hes a little hesitant about it cause he hasn't ever done any body work.

Just do it... its bad-ass.

i agree - i mean, if it was a ferrari 250gto of something - well, first off you shouldn't be cutting scoops in a ferrari anyways - but regardless, i could rightly understand the hesitation, but for gods sakes, its only a Jimmy or S15 fender! It's not like screwing up is going to be a financial disaster. Heck just in case you might as well pull 3 or 4 fenders off in the junkyard and have a couple in case of a mistake. Tell your old man to get cuttin'.

^ haha! Cheryl's the only person besides merk that when faced with a dead IC pump would turn down a free jabsco to get a stocker!

Morgan, sorry about the paint mismach but the work on that scoop (I know I've said it before) just looks perfect and natural.

haha, dont let Merk see that, lol.

thanks man, I cant wait till people see it on the 12th at E-town. Sometime after that and before the ISTA East meet, it will be getting repainted. Im bidding on a new spray gun on eBay right now, so if I win that, im all set. Then I just need to get the paint analized, and im good to go.

Note: Nobody has said anything about the other thing I removed on the fender yet either :D

when the truck was stolen in philly how did you get the paint to match on the passanger door? or is it slightly off there too?

the body shop came close to matching it up, but its slightly off there too. Not as bad as my paint job :), but I can notice it if I look hard enough.

I think im gonna pop the gas tank door off and go get it scanned.

Saw a T/A on the road today with that vent in the fender.

I'd like to do the GNX louvers someday.
