Re: first kill with new setup
The Koni adjustables might work better on a Typhoon but they were a $350 waste of money on my truck. I've put up with the tooth-rattling ride for several years now and I'm going back to regular shocks. The traction bars also make the ride suck if you have preload on the springs. I've backed the snubbers off since I drive my truck on the street 99% of the time. The right-rear Koni is blown out...I can push it in and out with little resistance. The other three are OK. I will put them in the classifieds after I get them swapped out next weekend. Between the overly-stiff ride and slipping torque converter, I have no desire to drive my truck anymore. If the shocks fix the ride and the new 9/11 2500 stall converter I ordered solve those issues, then I might start driving it again. Otherwise, it's getting sold and I'll use the money for a down on a C6 Z06.
