Ive always got a ticket in every corvette ive owned but never any of my 3 syty's. I remember one time I was at turner falls in Oklahoma and thought itd be fun to power launch through a water bridge. Well I didnt notice the fat bitch on the atv that was the park police and I splashed her pretty good. She pulled me over for it and I was having the hardest time keeping a straight face every time I looked at the water on her shirt LOL. But she was kool about it and let me go.

I didnt get a ticket in the TY for the longest time then all of a sudden, I got a bunch all at once. So far, I have gotten 8 tickets just in the TY. 3 were speeding. 2 were careless driving(boost launch) and two were exhaust and one was lowered vehicle. Actually, I got one for no rear license plate light as well. I went to the court house and copied the back of the careless driving tickets caiuse when I read what hte officers said about it while I was in court I was trying real hard to keep a straight face. I can post it up if you become interested.

Had been raining prior few days. Back glass on the Ty was dirty, couldn't see out. Entered I35 and zapped up to 80, moving to the left lane, passing slower traffic. A motorcyle headlight comes screaming up from pretty far behind. I goose it up to ~85 to clear some cars in the middle lane, then move right to let the bike pass. Instead, it pulls in behind me and on come the lights. Bike cop. Said he wouldn't have pulled me over except I just kept accelerating, even with him on my tail. For some reason he was not appreciative that I was accelerating to get out of his way!?

just got my first sy-speeding ticket 3 weeks ago while breaking in my new engine.
40kph to fast wich costed me around 220 usd. i still was lucky cause 41kph to fast and i would have to walk for 2 weeks.

Pulled over once when I took off fast next to my wife in her Lightning for having "illegal aftermarket lighting" (stock foglights) and "unnecessary acceleration". I told him they were stock GM lights and I was traveling under the posted speed limit when he pulled me over... but he still wrote me a warning for the foglights stating they were "too bright for street use and could cause an accident". WTF??? I REALLY had to bite my tongue to keep from going to jail on that one.
I also got a ticket for going 80 in a 55 while tuning. I got "lucky" since I had just ran it up over 100 and was keying the laptop on the passenger seat when I looked over and saw the cop coming at me.
Those are the only two times I've been pulled over in the last five years. Considering the fact that the Sy probably only consumes 1/1000th of the time I'm behind the wheel every year those aren't very good odds .

Trucks been off the road for a year, so havent had a chance to get caught in it yet.
The car.. lets just say I've been pulled over 7 times in the last 4.5 months and havent gotten a ticket yet. Everything from 9mph over, to 40mph over. Heres how that one went..Cop-"I'm two for two tonight, I just got one of ours going to work as well, running late? I got ya doing 93 in a 50" Me-"yeah, just a little." (it was 11:48 I had to be at work by midnight..) Cop-"Alright man haul ass and have a good night" :lol:

I took off from a light pretty hard turning left and a cop saw me from a couple blocks away. He saw me turn down my street and pulled into my driveway with the cherries on! 'Took off pretty hard back there huh?' I was polite and didn't lie, I agreed I got on it pretty hard but I never sped and got a warning.
Another day I was just letting off the gas coasting into town off the highway and a ghost car got me doing 126kms in a 100 zone so that cost me $120. Lucky he didn't get me on the highway doing 150kms.
First time I got pulled over in the Ty was the day after I bought it and was still driving it home. I had no plate on the back just a temporary sticker in the window and a RCMP pulled me over just double checking the registration. Ended up the cop was from my hometown and bought insurance from my dad.

Last fall I raced a Mustang from a light and got pulled over just down the road, the cop saw the whole thing take place, he gave me a stunting ticket $402 that comes with 6 points.
I went to court today and got it reduced to just the fine with no points.
Funny thing is......On the way out of court I asked the cop why he pulled me over in my SUV and not the sportscar.......he said because you flew through the lights with your tires spinning, and the Mustang calmly pulled through the intersection.........I laughed in my head and wanted to tell him the stang just looked slow cause my truck hauls ass from a dig :lol:
