what technique where you using?

did you launch? what kind of gas? how well is your truck tuned?

factor in KCIR isnt the best of tracks... but your running a full second SLOWER than you should be in stock form...

give us some feedback, diagnose whats going on....

i attempted to launch like you said.the first time i got nervous and didn't put it in neutral so the brakes didn't hold and i went through the lights(this run felt the fastest but no time cause of the red light).secound time was better i did every thing correctly but did't build much boost. third time was a good medium launch, little tire spin, but deffenitly better than the rest. on the video you can tell that gabes truck launched alot harder than mine so i need to work at that. 91 octane, truck runs great idles very smooth for a ty according to gabe. it was a very fun experience though.

the "huge 4x4" didnt win. I have the time slip i got a 14.4 and he got a 14.6. and by the way that was a bad ass truck. go find another chevy 2500 series 4x4 that runs 14's

I have only had my truck to the track one time. I didn't even launch, I just held the break and when the light turned green punched it to the floor. I ended up running a 14.2@95. I figure next time i get my Ty to the track i will have to try a real launch and see if it will break into the 13's.
