and yes i know if could probably use a 2nd coat. didn't have time to do it and he's in a rush to get it back.

I'll prolly end up doing it again later for him so he doesn't cry.

I would have smoothed to remove the texture before powdercoat, and then left the "Syclone 4.3 Turbo" text either raw or powercoat in silver.

Otherwise, cool.....

if i had 10hrs to devote to it i'd agree. But sanding a set of intakes smooth is not exactly my idea of useful spent time.

Certainly won't be able to tell it's dirty.

For me....it needs some chrome acessories on it now. Chrome fittings, brackets, bolts.

i'm not sure what he plans on doing accessory wise. I already coated his a/c and alt brackets, water neck, and some other small items flat black to match. I think that just a polished throttle body plate or something like that would stand out well.

His throttle body is gonna look odd hanging off all the flat black stuff...maybe i can coat a tb for him.

Could have gotten the same effect with a can of spray paint for a lot less effort.

I think if my truck comes apart, all that will get powdercoated black wrinkle.

Black wrinkle looks badass on engine stuff like that.
