3" mandrel bent exhaust pipe. Side exit.
This is one of the units KGB Pilot built a few years back. You can find out more info on them if you search the threads.
Bolts up directly to the cat, no problems or leaks. It tucks perfectly around the front leaf spring mount. Exits just short of the bed cladding and infront of the passenger side rear wheel.
Has a secondary mount that attaches to an exsiting hole in the frame. This thing is solid and doesnt move, no rattles and no connection with any parts of the truck.
The sound quality is noticable but not annoying and there are no rattles or strange reverbirations in the cab.
Made out of steel exhaust pipe. Not stainless. However it has been coated with 3 coats of Cool-It High Temp coating in flat black. This piece would be beautiful if coated in Jet Hot or something similar.
In the week I have owned the truck I have no issues of hot or burned cladding and it doesnt even get the cladding dirty with soot. The previous owner said he had put a couple thousand miles on the truck before he sold it to me and he didnt have any issues with it either. Josh (KGB Pilot) said he had no issues with it either and from the condition of the truck I can say there seems to be no long term effects of where the exaust exits.
I dont know how to post pics in this thread but feel free to PM me for pics or someone can tell me how to post them.
What I am looking for is an original Borla cat back for a Syclone. Ideally looking to trade for it but will consider cash offers.
I am tring to take my truck as close as i can back to stock.
NOTE: Due to previous discussion board member NELLO has 1st right of refusal. But I wanted to put the feeler out there if he decides to go a different direction.
Thanks and sorry for the long post,
Paul
