Don't forget to get your Drug Tax Stamp as required by Kansas law. :eek:

The stamps are valid for 3 months. Drugs seized without stamps or having expired stamps may result in criminal or civil penalties which may include fines, seizure of property or liens against real estate

Think i'm joking? NO. Kansas has an Illegal Drug Tax as stated on the Kansas Department of Revenue Website.

That is one of the most desperate ways of making revenue I've ever heard of, but might save you from more problems if you get the stamps.

Laws exempting personal property from seizure do not apply to seizure pursuant to drug tax warrants.

Kansas was one of the first states to enact a tax on illegal drugs. There are roughly 10 states that continue to impose a tax on illegal drugs.

Any other weird laws in Kansas? Illegal ironing board surfing, hospitals won't accept patients who come in for beer & GT3 overdose, local gangs who beat up skinny guys and tattoo "Got Stock?" to there foreheads :p

stealing a horse is still punishable by death, and it is illegal to put vanilla ice cream on cherry pie. both still in the law books in kansas.
