gimme some help guys what do you think,

i printed out the typical buyers guide, i'm going to try and look at it tomorrow if i can.

not sure what else to really look for since it doesn not run and has alot of stuff taken off

this is what he said. i need to be thinking of a dollar figure to offer??????

I emailed the seller about that truck. Here's his response, in case you haven't talked to him:

"I have at least 7 or 8 interested buyers so far. I just posted it yesterday so as for offers go, its still on going. I have told all of them that I am willing to let it go for 7 thousand dollars if the buyer comes pick it up. The condition of the Syclone is as shown on the pictures. I just took them yesterday.
As for parts to complete it, I think it just needs s10 gas tank with fuel pump, exhaust piping after downpipe to tail pipe, whole new intercooler set up. It already has built McCoy motor with o-ringed heads, ported, and forged/nitrated internals, ball bearing turbo, built tranny. Should put out at least 500hp since I can spin all 4 tires.

damnit, i'd have to dump atleast 1 or 2 cars to be able to do 7gs

shit, well thank you for the info, i may still go look at it, i was hoping it didn't have a built motor though.

although if he can spin all 4 tires then it has been ran? so why is it torn apart? and obviously not been dynoed, which means either no tune or street tune:barf:

sounds like he has abused it

yea man, send me a PM and maybe we can meet up.

well i finally got the guys number, really had to beat it out of him, he's seems kinda scetched out, says he keeps it in a shop with an alarm and such.

i will get ahold of him tomorrow and see if i can meet up and take a look, i'll grab some pics and more info and post it up, maybe then i can determine if it's worth what he's asking.

maybe i'm jumping the gun a bit, since i have never actually even seen a syclone in person i got really excited and jumped at the thought of getting one.

especially since it's just up the road from me. we'll see whats up with it.

it really sucks that it is not in a driveable state. but maybe it starts?

thats really the only reason i would try and get it is because it's local, and depending on what extra parts he has, there could be a sy/ty garage sale. i wasn't looking for a fast truck just a nice clean stocker to do some light mods to.

i dunno, i'll kep this thread updated, don't want to get myself in over my head, or get excited and jump at a crapper

well we'll see if he's a shyster or not. hoepfully not. really i'd rather him keep his mccoy motor, if it really is one. i would rather have a stocker or build my own anyways.

yea it's torn apart and all that, but with that low of miles and having all the parts and stuff, and assumiong it's in good shape, well.. i mean nice stockish trucks bring close to 10k or more, so being at 7k doesn't sound that awful bad does it? i mean really, plus whatever he has off the ty. it may only need reassembly.

but you are right about, why not just finish it. who knows we'll see though

It wasn't what Peter said it was,but Keenan had wrecked his built Ty and needed a body for his 10k super motor.

That's all I know,but Keenan will post I'm sure.

Just buy it.Ya snooze ya lose.

I really appreciate for you getting ahold of me. I am sorry I have been out of the scene for so long. Too damn busy with my business :( No free time and expanding.

Yes I am impressed that Jimmy remembered about me and my trucks :)

It does have all that parts like Jimmy said, I DO HAVE the reciepts. A HUGE folder of it. I don't even want to add it all up since I would cry.

I bought this Syclone from Peter so its a typical East coast Syclone, but with low miles. The interior is almost perfect except for dash and instrumenet panel. I have the perfect dash and panel from the Typhoon I wrecked. So yes, I do have bunch of Typhoon parts.

This Syclone is not stock at all. It does have some parts that it needs to complete, just the minor stuff.

The reason why I am selling it is because I am selling my house with 2 shops and moving to different house with no shops :( I just want to be closer to my business since the commute from my house sucks. I hate leaving home real early in the morning and getting home real late. Thats why its eating up my free time. I love this Syclone and had big plans. It is a project, needs to be plugged back together and etc. Like I said, it just needs some parts to get it going, nothing expensive like I dumped so much money on McCoy motor, built tranny, ceramic coated KB headers, ball bearing Turbo and wastegate that is Innovative, electronic boost controller, carbon fiber drive shaft, coil overs in front and fiberglass leaf springs in back. Thats from the top of my head I can come up with real quick before I have to take off for work.

I understand this is not a truck for anyone.

forgot the damn camera

i looked at the truck tonight, looks pretty good. body is super straight, cladding is in pretty good shape, interior is nice, motor and undercarriage looks good, no rust that i could see.

sucks that i can't hear it run or drive it, but i think i can trust the owners word on it all being ok.

needs to be reassembled, only a few items are missing, comes with ALOT of goodies.

once the items it's missing are in hand probably could be ready to go in a weekend, maybe 2.
