Front diff rebuild kit

What kit are you guys using? Mine has a bunch of slop in it, so its coming out to rebuild and new bushings. Juat looking to see what you guys are using.

I'm unclear about what it is that you want to rebuild. Are you talking about the internals of the front differential itself, or the mounting bushing for that unit?

No bushings...Bearings.
Bearings x2 qty. = National Bearings Part# A-18 https://www.amazon.com/National-A18-.../dp/B004ABGNQA
Oil Seals x2 qty. = SKF 12494 https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...ords=SKF+12494
Lube = (Whatever brand you prefer) 80w90 wt. Diff Lube.
Sealant (for case) = Permatex Right Stuff Black Gasket Maker (comes in a presurized metal can that reminds me of a cheese whiz can). <-never had a leak with this stuff.

Note: the bearings have a conical adjustment built into the case to take out the slop and for adjustment.
It took a little heat from a propane torch to get the bearings off the carrier.
To put the new ones on NO HEAT just put the carrier in the freezer and the room temp bearings will slide right on the frozen carrier shafts.
If you are removing the ring gear...also same procedure: propane torch to heat the ring after removing the bolts comes right off and put the carrier in the freezer and the ring at room temp to slide it right on.

I don't have the pinion seal and bearing part #, sorry. Those above are for the two output should be a start for you in your search.

Sorry, should have been more thorough on my question. I need to change the bushigs too, but i have those already. I'll look. at those. part. numbers tomorrow and go. from there. Thanks.

Any updates on the front differential complete rebuild kits? I need to rebuild my '91 Sy unit, any leads to a company that sells rebuilt units?
