I am not for sure but i think you have to pull the hub. if i had to pull the hub i would just raplace the hole thing.

It can be done on the truck. Take the caliper and rotor off and position the hub so the stud can be knocked out. The new one can be pulled through by placing several oversized washers or a nut on the stud and wrench it on.

just like turrrbo6 said. bang out the old one with a hammer. put new one in and put large washers on stud as a spacer and use a nut to press new stud into place. I have done several on my truck and it should only take you 15 minutes or so.

When I did it, somone said not to hammer the old ones out because that could damage the bearings. They recommended pressing them out with a large C clamp or something similar.

That being said, I still ended up having to use a hammer. Just don't pound on them any harder than necessary.
