Hey guys,

Today is a sad day. I have owned Sy #1364 for about 4 or 5 months but the wife wants a new car. I really do not want to have 2 payments soooo the Syclone has to go for now. I bought it from a member on here dcracer. The truck has been a lot of fun to own. Here are the details.

Good

1991 Syclone
63000 miles
Hot Licks Red
Black Corvette Grand Sport Wheels
Aftermarket Cd Player (have original)
Front Baer brakes
Borla Exhaust system (Currently have 3 inch turndown off cat on truck)
Vacuum at idle is 15
Boost is good (strong)
Michael Hood reflashed stock chip
Typhoon mirrors
Electric Antenna
Hood struts
Propshaft safety loops (front and rear)
K & N filter
Recently had tuneup-oil change, wires, plugs, cap and rotor
Only premium used in truck

Bad

Small oil leak in exterior cooler lines
2 chips in windshield (possibly repair-maybe replace)
A few minor touchup spots on body paint

Let me know if your interested....I'm not looking at low ball offers and to be perfectly honest I am not in a "pinch" to sell. Just want to appease the wife with her new car wish.

$12500.00 obo

Thanks,

Nate

I will pull it out of the garage tomorrow and snap some photos. Its been rainy all day here so I didn't want to pull it out in the rain.

678-986-5071---I am really rethinking selling at this time. It is not hurting anything sitting in my garage and I might have grown a slight "emotional" attachment to this truck

I definitely enjoy driving the truck when I do (which is not much) but I am afraid I will have sellers remorse if I get rid of it.

You can still call me but it definitely wouldn't work this weekend if I did decide to sell it. Sorry to drag you along....just not sure I can get rid of it.

Was the vibration fixed from when I test drove it last summer? It felt like the prop shaft.

I have driven it about 500 miles since purchasing it and am not sure what vibration you felt? It has the typical sloppy steering but all in all rides out pretty smooth. Enlighten me please as to what you felt when you drove it? :dunno:

It had a slight misfire that the seller later diagnosed as a burnt plug wire and a vibration around 55-65 MPH. It wasn't major but I could feel it in the floorboard. I suspected propshaft but could have been a front wheel out of balance.

Haha...I tried to tell my wife that....needless to say it didn't go over well. It is officially for sale now. Will be posting on Craigslist again later today. Please pm if interested. I can always post more pics if needed.

Thanks,
Nate

It was painted in 2000. I was the previous owner.

Thank you, was it painted for any other reason than it looks awesome? Rust, body damage, etc?

Obviously I can't speak for its current condition. I bought it from the original owner in 2000. It had these funky graphics on both sides of the truck. The truck had about 10k miles on it. The inspiration was to mimic the Marlboro Syclone since I couldn't afford to purchase any of the 10. There was no body damage or rust at that time. The truck was painted by my buddy in his garage. LOL. He is a painter by trade. I paid $4k for the paint job and it easily could have cost $7k or more if I walked into a regular shop. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks! The truck is in really good condition. It has a few paint chips from over the years (none of my doing...I baby it). The paint is still super glossy, interior clean, etc! You did an awesome job with the restore!

Find a good camera and take some pictures of the truck. Unless you don't want to sell it.
