Hood do u have anymore of these? It looks to be a major problem solver for heat soak issues in the typhoons.

I have one of these. It's absolutely awesome.

Works great and it's size/orientation puts a mile of space between the wires/solenoid and the downpipe.

No Hitachi, but I can get Powermaster and CVR. Powermaster units are a little stronger, but only use OE mounting position (whereas the CVR is indexable) and cost more.

I installed one of these hitachi starter's today on a customers truck. Absolutely awesome product! I love how you can clock the solenoid at the 6 o' clock position, keeping it away from the manifold and easier to access wiring connections.

I run the CVR units on my trucks and they are a little pricey but I have never had any problems. One was rebuilt recently, I will no longer buy any other starter but this hitachi for the 4.3.

Recently I have had nothing but crap from O'Reilly's and brand new units or reman be junk! Makes me feel at ease when I need a 4.3 starter for a reasonable price this hitachi is available, thanks HOOD!
