FS: Pontiac 23* heads complete, Intake with fuel rails

Seeing as i dont have a real plan to build a bowtie block at this time. Im going to see if anyone else needs or wants these. I got them this year from THEMADTYPHOON, and they are a set that John G original had.

Anyway this is a matching heads and intake setup. The heads have been worked over and have large valves, flow 320/233 @ .650 lift. The heads are complete with shaft mount T&D rockers, and the intake has been modded for fuel injectors. I also have the Crower offset lifters needed, but they will need to be rebuilt. The intake also has fuel rails mounted and ready. I believe that these were new heads and the intake has not been machined down and is a perfect match.

You will need custom headers for these to work, thats the other expensive part of this puzzle. These are still in the boxes that i received them in, and i only unpackaged them to take pics and inspect for shipping damage.

$2000 FIRM plus shipping.
I am asking what i paid for them.
update 12/14/12 -- Willing to drop price a little, if anyone is interested.

Good luck with your sale! For those interested in using these on a stock block you will need 3.8 lifters from ta performance. These are the shrouded style roller style. Nolan told me about these lifters for my build using your same setup. This keeps u from having oil pressure fluxuations at high rpm

I didnt known the ponchos also came in 23's.. Will these fit a 2000+ block with the 3.8 lifters as stated above?

I don't see why it wouldn't work with them, but I don't really know. Can try to find out for you of you are interested.

I am interested, but I don't want you to do extra leg work. I'm gonna check it out and see. If these are 23 degree heads what's different for the headers, the port locations? I can't see the pics at work.

They will NOT work on a stock block because they chambers and valves are setup for a 4.125 bore. They have a raised exhaust port location thus requiring a custom made set of headers. RPM can easily provide these to you. Hope this answer all the questions.

My pontiacs fit with stock block. Valves are closer to the cyl walls than normal, but acceptable. Edd Hess ran them on a 4.030 block? It was a bowtie but cyl still the same.

I would take Justin's (THEMADTYHP00N) word on them not working with a stock block. I didnt know this or had forgotten, but im sure its due to the large valves being in them. If i couldnt sell them, i was hoping to do a stock block build like Jason (SYCLONE#1531) is doing right now.

But thats out too, damn.

EDIT: So you need a bowtie block, and headers to work with these heads. Those are the two expensive parts missing. And the huge turbo, billet crank, cage, custom fuel system. You know, all the little stuff.

Got a good offer for the intake. Is anyone interested in just the heads, would let them go for $1300.

The intake and heads are a matched set. I doubt if the intake will fit any other heads. The 23* pontiac heads without the intake...good luck finding an intake for the 23* Pontiacs. I have several of the daytona intakes that look just like this one, but none will fit. The 23* Bowties, the 18* Bowties, the 23* Brodies and the Ponitacs all take a different intake pattern. Just trying to help out. If you separate them you may be hurting yourself with a sale of the matched set.

Just giving people options, wasnt sure if anyone that might already have a pontiac setup would be interested in another set of heads for cheaper than buying the entire set with the intake.

My next step is to put them on racing junk, and ebay and see what happens.

Thanks for the info John G.
