We just finished designing a very nice hood strut kit for SY/TY/SGT.

This kit will work with standard and aftermarket fiberglass hoods too.

New Product pricing for the first 10 sets will be $90 delivered. It will likely go up after the first 10 sets, or shipping will not be included free.

I'm interested. Do they bolt on using existing holes like the old philintx kits?

This is not a group buy people. We've already tooled up to offer the kits and have parts in stock. We make hood strut kits for several different vehicles currently so this was no big deal.

I am not familiar with the philintx kit. If you have a picture, please post and I can compare/contrast them with ours.

There is very very minimal modifications necessary to install the kit, but it's not 100% bolt up.

I will post installation pictures soon.

These are different from Phil's. These have an additional aluminum bar that Phil's don't. Otherwise they look the same.

Can somebody point me to a link on how to become a vendor? We have several other projects in the works already for SY/TY so it makes sense to get this taken care of now.

I'm not trying to run him off, I would like a set myself. I would also like him to travel the proper routes to sell his products. Myself and I'm sure others are less trusting of people on here with new products. If he becomes a vendor or gets a group buy approved I'll spend $$ with him, if not I'm out.

We appreciate all the interest in our kit.

We have them in stock so the first 10 customers get a discount, making the kit $90 delivered by US Priority Mail.

When you make payment, simply put in the notes section if you have a metal or fiberglass hood, as we reduce the strut force for fiber.
