Fuel injectors for 500-600RWHP

Figured the title worked great last time..

I've got a A1000, i'm planning on having it tunned for 550RWHP or whatever it will do at 22lbs of boost and under with a max timing of.. probably 22degree's.

I need them to be high impedence in order to work with the computer i'm going to run.

I'm concerned about idle, this truck will still be on the street however it will be running sequential fuel injection so that might help a bit.

thanks again everyone in advance.

As far as price, you're gonna have to do the shopping, especially this time of year, with specials and such. Any of the vendors here are not gonna be that far off most places prices.

65# will be borderline for your goals. You can make them deliver more via fuel pressure (up to 75-80#), but you're really working your pump hard. The upside is that the Mototron 65s are a well-proven injector.

RC makes high-z 75s, should be plenty for your application. The 70#+ hi-z injectors are fairly new creatures, though, not a lot of time in the wild.

Im using #74s in my Ty with A1000 pump 42psi at the reg. Im making 600+hp and my duty cycle is about 85-90%. Idles great with 422 cam.

Thats awesome to hear, where did you pick them up at? I've got call(s) into every vendor advertising on here and some 5 days later still no prices..

Re: Fuel injectors for 500-600RWHP

going nuts.. no one will return calls or give me a price.. Except Mike at RPM as normal, answers his phone and checks prices.. except they were 95 dollars a peice for 75lb high impd. :(

Re: Fuel injectors for 500-600RWHP

Any updates on sizes or who is selling injectors? Still on the line on what to do about the injectors. 65,75,83lb.. or whatever is out there in high impd. This is the biggest thing holding my truck back from running.. not wanting to spend 600 in injectors ontop of 750 dollar harness, and a fuel system i've just dropped nearly 1000 in.. fuel cell, A1000, filters, AN SS lines.. etc.

thanks

I ended up ordering a set of 83lb low impd injectors from 5.0 motorsports, i could only save like 30-50 bucks getting used injectors and i got new flow matched to under 1% with a warranty so hopefully its one less thing i've got to worry about.

I kinda went all out of this reconfiguration..
New ecm, harness, turbo, injectors, fuel system.. i'll post specs later on and build pics. I should probably open something up in the conversions area but i don't think anyone looks in there lol.

you could squeeze out a 9 sec pass with your setup and traction i bet. yeah seems like most people here dont care about conversions lol. although both of our trucks hardly have any stock syty specific parts. the only thing i'm using are the exhaust manifolds and i'll be running custom headers with the next motor. hows it doing anyways? :D

Re: Fuel injectors for 500-600RWHP

I just realized i've spent 1000's of dollars that i could have bought gift cards at giant eagle and been driving on free gas for a year....SOB that makes me mad..

Going balls out though.. figure i've got a spare engine in the garage so what the hell. LMAO
