Fuel pressure at 70lbs

I'm getting 70lbs of psi after walboro 450 installed. Return line is not clogged. Used 2 different adjustable fuel pressure regulator with no change? Is this normal

That pump is too big to run with factory fuel lines. Why did you put in such a big pump?

That's what I'm thinking.... got the pump for free. Would replacing the return line to 3/8 same as feed fix the issue?

They say don't use the 450 for "stock" applications.

The "too small" restriction is the stock fuel regulator itself. Up-sizing the hose after the regulator won't do squat to fix it.

I have zero experience with E85 in SyTy, but I know the volume of fuel required is much greater than gasoline. The E85 cars I've seen have up-sized everything. Lines, pick-ups, fuel rails, injector sizes, remote regulators, pumps. Everything gets changed.

In the meantime,for a streetable SyTy, run a Walbro 255HP which has been the standard among SyTy enthusiasts for 25 years. No Drama.

Thanks everyone for you're Input. I Drop the tank and turns out the line was ripped and kinked from the fuel pump to the fuel hanger. That was causing 70lbs fuel pressure. But needle would flutter. Needle was not steady. On the Facebook syty page multiple people were using the hellcat pump with stock size fuel lines with no issues. 525 I believe. So I figured the 450 was not an issue with stock lines. In the near future I would like run e85. That's the reason I went ahead with that pump. Replace hose. Now fuel pressure is at 43lbs. With vacuum line disconnected
