Fuel Pressure/Hard start

My Ty has been hard to start for the last week. It seems to not be getting FP everytime I turn the key on. Two days ago the fuse blew while I was passing a truck. I replaced the fuse and also replaced the relay that sends FP when you first turn the key on. Everything seemed normal for one day. Now it's not getting pressure again for start up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When its running I am at 42-45lbs cruising and up to 65lbs under boost and all seems fine. It just doesn't always start or have FP build up when you turn the key on and the pump should prime. I have a Walbro pump and a racetronix plug and play unit. They were installed about 4 months ago. One note. When I replaced my pump I missed the part (and threads) about leaving off the pulsator valve until after I had finished the job. Could that be going bad? If it was the pulsator wouldn't my FP at driving speeds be bleeding off? Please help. Thanks,
Eric :(

Do you have FP after cranking the engine for 10-15 seconds? If so, you have a bad relay.

All GM EFI systems have an oil pressure switch circuit which will bypass the relay when the engine is running. Cranking the engine long enough to raise the oil pressure and close the switch will get the fuel pump running to start the engine.

Sorry for taking so long in responding to your help. The Ty would not start at all on Friday so I took the day off to work on it. I bypassed the Racetronix unit and plugged in to the factory wiring and it started right up. It runs and starts just fine. I know the fuse is good so now I will check all the wiring in the Racetronix unit to see if I can find a break in a wire. It's only been on about 6 months, do they have any kind of warranty? Thanks for your help and suggestions.

I am sure racetronix has a decent warranty.
Contact them and see what they say.
www.racetronix.com
*off their site* Lifetime warranty on harness and one year on pump.

Surely if some part is faulty already they would replace it.

Doesn't sound like its the pulsator.
If that leaks you usually get lower pressure all the time and the pressure will bleed off as soon as you turn off the key.

Keep us filled in, I want the racetronix harness setup and haven't heard a bad thing about it yet.
