Fuel Pressure Regualtor??

How do I know if my fuel pressure reg is going out? When I start it in the mornings it fires up fast no problems. But after Ive been driving it then go to start it it takes a while to start. Is it the fuel pressure reg? I replaced it a few years ago... and the fuel pump is about 10 months old. Any help would be awesome.

Oh yeah, it turns over, but just after Ive been driving it and it sits for a few hours, when I go to start it, it cranks but just takes a while to catch and start.

Starter is new

I replaced the fuel pump relay about ten months ago when I did the fuel pump...

Just because it has been replaced doesn't rule it out. Ever buy something that was bad out of the box? All you have to do is unplug the AC relay and plug the fuel pump relay's plug into it to check it...

The A/C relay is the one thats right next to it??

So...I replaced the Fuel pump relay today and still the same problem...Ideas?

... ignition is not an option ???

maybe your spark is weak ... :sly:
(can cause a bad ign.module, dist., cap/rotor, wire, plug, ...)

does is fine when you floor it ?
does it at least full boost ?

or do the probs occur only while starting the engine ?

EDIT : an overheated plugwire can also cause issues - routed too close to the header / DP - just thinking you mentioned porbs occur while engine is warm/hot ...

Ya its fine when I floor it, and i get full boost out of it. Problems only occur when I try to start it after its been running

when it's hot, misfire @ idle ?

if not there is no trouble w/ ignition IMO, had same probs like you describe - my solution was : pull starter apart, clean, reinstall - works fine ;)

btw.: what FP @ idle on FPR ?
