This is the hotel we'll be staying at. Still need a TOTAL head count (and room grouping) for reservations, but I have approval on a group rate. Should be around 50-ish per room, per night for 2 adults (2 full beds, standard pkg, 25" TV).

Little change in plans here..........Red Roof Inn mistook what I said to be twin beds for one king bed. So, Red Roof is booked up on twins (and I ain't sleeping with Scott). So, Holiday Inn is the backup. Works out better actually.........it's closer for all of us, closer to the track, 100 yds from Hooters (and other FINE establishments), and right off I-95.
Since I had to resort to a new hotel, the group rate is out (they need 30 days advance notice and I called with 28 to go :roll: ). Standard rooms run $88 a night for internet reservations (I know, I tried), but if 2 people split that, it ain't so bad. Family Rooms run $93 per night, so that ain't bad either (split 4-5 ways). I figured arrival of Friday afternoon for most and departure on Sunday morning (that's 2 nights, so billing will be $88 x 2 or $93 x 2).
Also, since there's no "group" deal going, just call in a reserve a room. We'll all probably hang out together anyways, so if our rooms are split up, it won't really matter much.

I need the hookup at the meet.My best run this year is a 7.97,so obviously something isnt't right.I know for a fact that I had an exhaust leak,but it's fixed.I also got some green dots
If we could get my a/f straight I know my truck could run 7.40's
Me and Joe will be there late late Friday night or Saturday morning.Looks like it's gonna be a good turnout.
Will we be able to get race gas there?

Just spoke with the Hotel.....room space is getting limited so make your reservations soon. If for some reason, they do run out of rooms, there are 3 other hotels within 100yds of this one, so it's not a big deal.
BTW, I got an executive suite for Scott and myself, so if anyone wants to just crash in our room, feel free (it'll comfortably hold 5).
One other point of interest, I inquired about cancellation, and if you cancel before the 5th, there will only be one night's charge for cancellation....no additional charges and no 2 night charges.

Okay.......just got off the phone with the group manager @ Holiday Inn. We are still eligible for a group rate. Even those that have already reserved a room can switch to the group rate. Now, this is the most important part.......when you make your reservation, ask to speak to ROBIN and ask for the car show group rate. She's there weekdays 7am-4pm.
If you are switching just tell her that you'd like to switch to the group rate. We have a 10-15 block set aside at $72 for an executive suite (normally $109 per room).
Use my name for reference if need be.
