Gathering at GreenTyGuy's Shop In Naperville, IL August 20th

Adam and I were talking about the next get together and he has offered to have it at his shop. There is a lift and all the tools we can get our dirty little hands on.

There is also a grill at the shop so we can slap some burgers on later - or make a t...rip to Hooters which is all of 5 minutes away.

Saturday August 20th seems to work the best for everyone.

Marty was talking about GLG being some time around the second or 3rd weekend of September.

Who's in? When do you want to do it? What do you need done? Personally, I have all my projects done unless my trans break between now and then...

Yeah - the one tomorrow is the F-Body guys and they've invited us. The one in planning is just for us 'cause we're a bunch of stuck up jerks.



Tomorrow is about 5 minutes from my house - so that equals about a 2 hours drive for you. I think it is just hang out and BS. I might swing over - it is 'sposed to be really hot - so it'll be nice to use Hooter's A/C instead of mine (although mine will be running). Eh - who knows.

I vote for 8-6 / 8-20. I need to install new IC pump, scoop and, hard line delete. Also another run on DM aftreword.

Dave, yes on order s/b here by the end of the week. I got a new Johnson pump from APEA(?) I just PP'd for a new IC Scoop too. I miss BOOST already.

If you want to do the hardline replacement nice, I have the 3/4" 90*'s at work. I'll u up some if you want.

I have the hose and 2 90*s already. I should have the pump next week and the scoop coming soon. I may also have some suspension stuff like torsion bar mounts and idler/pitman arms. Anyone know how to replace the torsions bar mounts? So the 20th is the date?

I've done the torsion bar mounts. They are a pain in the ass. Get the ones with the short stud.

I planned on using the MOOG mounts. Are these the short stud ones?

MOOG makes 2 different ones. Talk to Michael Hood @ Tucker Autoparts.

I talked to Justin (THEMADTYPHOON) he's going to come. I'm going to call a few others who don't frequent the board as much anymore and see if they want to come out.

I could be there with Ty if I can get it all back together now...

Ellens Mom died the same week our newest baby was born so free time is little and far between.
Anyone want to come out and give me a hand in my AIR CONDITIONED garage??? I am off monday and tuesday and am doing some work but I will have stuff left over for this coming weekend....

From I-88 ---> exit rt 59south ----> 59 to Montgomery rd, take a right ----> left onto normantown road (just before train tracks) ----> left onto Schrooger rd ---->will be approx 4th driveway on right hand side (turn in drive with splitrail fence when you see the pond). I will also have my truck parked out there so no one misses it.
