Re: gauging interest
well i'm pretty sure i will still be working on it to get it out of my pops shop. i will finish it and sell it for the same price that it was when i bought it. it was far from stock when i bought it for 22K and its even further now and faster, why not sell it for the same price. i understand everones arugements but like i said i put myself into drowning pool, because i couldn't afford it and had to use plastic. right now its not totally about the vehicle, its about stopping a pattern/habit of spending money i don't really have, all my purchases made for the truck were absolutely dumb mistakes now that i look back on it.
because of my mistakes i have been paying for it ever since. and its not just my vehicle its been in every hobby of mine. i go out and buy a $1300 speaker/amp head setup for my bass guitar. the head gets stolen at my church so i get a check and sell the speakers and i come out even, but i still didn't have the money in the first place. the i decide that i want to try an acoustic bass, $400 later on the card and i have one, then i get tired of it and trade it in for $150 to help with the bass speaker/amp head setup. after that i decide i want to try out a 5string bass, buy a used one for $900 on the card, then i got tired of that and traded it in with my $1300 bass for a $1500 musicman stingray. then i went freaking stupid on itunes with the card an bought way too much music, over $600 dollars.
sometimes you have to give up the things you love to make your life better. i only drove the white ty for a month before i broke it, its been sitting for over 1 year and 3 months, sucking 60% of my paychecks every month. i don't go out at all because i need to drop over $1700 a month into the truck payment and credit card payment and insurance payment.
i need to do what best for me, cuz i think if i do keep it, coilovers, corvette front brakes, 4L80e etc.. is what i want to put into it, and thats another $7K that i don't have.
