Gave up on the A/C

My A/C died today. Compressor tried to seize, sounded like a jar of marbles and smoke came out from under the hood. Bye bye A/C. I spent $550 7 years ago and replaced everything. Now it's dead again.
Motormite A/C delete pulley and bracket:

Might as well yank the whole thing, save weight and really cleanup the engine bay.

If you want I can give you all the specs on the AC delete I run and you could make you one. Its nice because it eliminates everything on the passenger side of the motor and trust me, you can see EVERYTHING... Im taking pics for CKEITH here soon (sorry its taking so long Chirs) and I can post them up for both of you if you want with all the parts and cut locations if you need. Let me know.

hey i gota brand new rpm delete kit if u want it ? i changed my mind summer is just to hot need new compressor though hahah

I wish there was a conversion for a diffrent compresor the little short one that are on our trucks have no oil resivoir and that sux

Anyone ever notice that the air in 2nd gen trucks blows harder and colder than 1st gen in general? Whats up with that? Are the new compressors more efficient? I'm considering using 2nd gen bracktry and accessories on a project that I am working on just for this reason.

If anyone is familiar with the differences between the 1st and 2nd gen A/C setups please fill me in. I know that the compressor and refrigerant differ but are there any other changes?

that's what i needed... mike can you take some pics of what material needs to be removed from the bracket???

the diffrence i see from a 1st gen and 2nd gen. the 2nd gen comps were made to run on 134 1st gen were not.
1st gens always sucked for a/c i think. my 93 blazer is ok. not cold like it should be
