My goal w/my Typhoon was to scrap the A2W and go A2A from the beginning. Fortunately I was able to find a Ty that had already been modded in this way so I can't tell you to it's performance increases over stock as I've never owned one w/o A2A. What I can tell you is that I wouldn't run over 20psi on that FMIC or you're asking for trouble. It's been long enough now so I don't remember at what point it failed but I seem to recall it was in the neighborhood of 25psi. Of you look at the intercooler you'll see that it's just plastic end tanks held on by tiny and flimsy aluminum fingers. I have since sold mine and gone to an eBay intercooler as have many of the Supra community and they are working great. They're cheap and you can run all the hp you might want to w/o fear of blowing off an end tank. I would suggest it as the Saab IC's are only good for low power levels IMO.
