Glass seal strip supplier

I'm replacing my side glass and windshield seal strips in conjunction with a paint job this month. I was able to find the parts through the local dealer but were a bit pricy. Dealer wanted about $66 for the sides and $25 for the windshield. I found the side seals on GMpartsdirect for about half the cost but am concerned about the shipping time. LMC truck didnt know what I was talking about.

Anyone know of an aftermarket supplier for these parts?

Thought I'd seen it in JCWhitney, but don't see it in the latest catalog. They would probably be slower than GMPD anyway.

I did mine last winter.

If you need the part #s, let me know.

IMO, GM is the way to go.

I have the GM part numbers. How quick does GMPD ship? Painted the truck this weekend and need em pretty quick.

Send me an email with the part #'s and I can get you a price.

I can also get any of the weatherstripping if needed. I should probably stock the one for the top of the rear hatch on the ty, with that being a place water loves to get into. I'm not sure a new weatherstripping would cure that problem, but if its worn then I'd say get a new one.

There needs to be a complete write up / how-to on fixing the rear hatch area of a ty to prevent rust formation, as well as along the cladding.

:2cents: JCW is a good place to find floor mats and oil drain pans; for the hassle crappy seals can cause, don't scrimp; spend the extra $100 and get GM.

The engine bay is gloss black. I painted it while the motor was out and the truck was blue. Decided to leave it that way to make a nice contrast with the white exterior and the chrome in the engine bay. I'll take pics after the cladding is put on. Still have a couple of pieces on order. I'm not sure how to post em up here. Suppose I could send them to someone who does.
