well i went out and took a look at the syclone and i must say it was perty nice.

VIN# 1GDCT14Z9M8802634 if anyone can car fax that for me, thank you!

body was straight, paint was ok, ran great, pulled "like a rocket ship" , it dose have a KB chip , engine was said to be replaced under warranty? interior was clean no rips,tears or fading of the seats.

there was no front drive shaft, differential or shafts up front either??? said he bought it that way.

There's a tiny bit of info on sportmachines.com about that truck. ECM #, engine sequence, and a few other things.

How firm was he on the price? I can't see that truck pulling 11k personally. I'd say $8-$9k tops. Too many little things wrong with it.... missing front diff for 1, trailer hitch for 2.

the viscous coupler in the t-case is probably toast with no front diff and a tow hitch.

yeah he had one all torn apart.


despite no front differential, half shafts or front drive shaft the truck looks like it might have a new home soon pending the car-fax report.

i offerd him a trade for a 04 jetta and he said he is in need of a 4 door car so he might bite on it.

first thing would be to ditch the KB chip.

we'll see.

he said if it was his truck at one point he wasnt the one who removed the front drive components.

I talked to the owner of this truck yesterday. He called me to buy a front diff, propshaft, and CV shafts. He said he wants to get all the parts, so when he sells it, the new owner at least has everything that goes with it. He told me he'd take $8k cash....

What happened with the sale? I actually know the seller, but haven't talked with him for a while. I didn't even know he had a Sy, his Ty has been getting done for the past 3+ years.
