I decided to put the bigger wheel cylinders in tonight. As some of you may know I have been contemplating painting my Z06 wheels black. Now I am far from the first one to do this but when I saw them on the truck I almost passed out they looked so good. Let me hear some honest opinions. Do they look good, lame, should I have left them original? Personally, I would have done it no matter what and I am not going to change it but it is always nice to hear what people think. Ok I got the truck out of the garage, here it is.







I think I am going to save up for powder coating. Drums are stuck like this for a while. I dont feel like taking them back off.

Damn my camera takes crappy pictures.It looks like the wheels are painted crappy but in person they are actually very smooth. Not sure why it came out that way in the pics. Oh and the tires are painted :lol: but new ones go on Tuesday.

ironically i hate chrome, and love black, i think these pictures dont do it justice.

i do however like the black chrome those are nice.

better pics please. I like the look on a ty but not a sy....sy seems smaller and 18+ inch wheels can almost look too big...but again on a ty...good deal!

Didnt really think so but have nothing to lose by trying. I think Ill give it a whirl. Calipers are red so thought Ild match :lol: Once they are all done and I clean the truck, hopefully today, Ill take some better pics outside.

Love the wheels but the red drums are a bit much! Id paint them flat black under your shinny black wheels.

Wow that wheel looks great! The drum.... how about a rear disc upgrade with red calipers? I know you can find your self whats needed from a junk yard!

Nah, they are the clear carbon fiber ones, trust me they look tits with tihs. If I get the truck out of the garage today, Ill post up some more pics. Gotta get my front brakes back together and put hte tranny back in.

The wheels look great, but those red drums distract from the nice wheels & draw attention to the ugly drums.

Ya, better pics of the whole truck with the wheels are needed and black drums would look better...
