went out to location last night after the car show / poker run last night . had several cars out there including a couple gns and t-types . got to run a 87 gn with tune ,60lbs and te45 turbo . first run left on 2 lbs and he got me and i stayed at his rear bumper the whole time . second go around left at 12 lbs and he did'nt catch back up till the very end . not too bad considering i'm running a 2 bar w/stock inj. stock turbo .cant wait to get the other truck running in a couple weeks !!

Nice.. I ran a gn from a roll once, dude said he spent over 8k on his engine,i took him by like half a car the whole time.
Im all stock here too.

the engine is in stock apperance , but running 412 cam fully done votecs ,tweaked atr strip chip , full atr exhaust . so no slouch . but yes if it was'nt for the gn's traction issues he prolly would have smoked me both times.

The GN should have beaten you. That being said I have seen GN's with Catalog of full part run 13's (this si particularly true of those into showing their GN) and other GN's that look stock with an just a K&N air filter running 11's.

Was it an older white guy who works at Bandamere Speedway If so I know he has ran in the low to mid 12's.
