im too late. I was going to say to just undo the exaust. The Cat is too shallow for the smog probe to fit in right so it doesnt read properly. Thats how I got some magic smog numbers. Good luck with the engine Truck looks great!

Hi there how do you ever pass visual inspection in California if you do what you described. The place I just got my truck passed at does both a visual under the hood and under the truck using mirrors so they don't have to get on their knees to inspect it. They also check the my gas filler for complete nozzle rescrictor plate.

I don't see any PCV valves either? Just messing with you dude. All power to you if you can get your fire breathing truck past the man in Sacramento?? Now that is a turbo but couldn't you find a bigger one? HA!
I'm assuming there are electric fans behind that radiator and possibly an electric water pump like I've seen listed in Summit Racing?

Looked at your thread and that damage really pulls at my heart. Looks real similar to an incident which happened to my Ty only on the right front corner. I was driving through a parking lot minding my own business and all of a sudden some idiot decides to back out of his parking spot and right into my right front corner without so much as looking before backing out. I was only doing about 15mph. The corner of my Ty just pealed away and pulled my bumper cover outward just like yours.

If I sell my Sy I will be selling my black ZR-1 Grand Sport wheels separately. I could let you have them all if you wanted them to replace the one messed up in the wreck? I really don't want to break up the set though.

All I can say it you must have someone like Tom had smogging his NorCal Terror engine to get it passed. The underlying word is plenty of $$$$ and plenty of cold brewski's made things happen.

Yes I bought them 3 or 4 years ago from a guy in Alabama who took them off his Grand Sport Vette when he started to autocross it. The rears are 11x17 and the fronts are 9.5x17. When I saw a set of these on a buddies black '93 Ty in the summer of '97 while up in South Shore Tahoe one year when the Sy Ty owners meet up there for HAN. I knew I had to have a set myself. They look so cool on a clean Sy or Ty. And that 11 inches of tread seen from the rear view is so BAD!!!

I will not be selling them until someone buys my Sy, I like them to much to take them off now.

If you were willing to pay a $1000 for the wheels, lug covers, and center caps? I'd consider selling them now? They had a few nicks and dings when I bought them, but nothing too noticable which detracts much from the looks of the beauty of an all black truck. I have won 5 awards with my Sy at car shows since I bought it in 2001. The wheels and those fat rear tires are what most people would comment about the most. I see you are in Hawthrone, CA. Ask Scott Husner about these wheels and my trucks and lastly me. He'll vouch for my integrity. I'm in San Jose, he has come up to NorCal on a few occasions over the years for Tom's annual summer get together about this time of year. This is the first year in over 10 years when there hasn't been one. He sold his Ty recently and the group of bay area owners is drifting apart. Part of why I'm now considering selling my Sy. Just isn't as much fun without frequent owner get togethers. NorCal gang is hard to get together anymore.

I also have a pair I Mike Lee aluminum valve covers never installed and still in the box. They are designed to mount just like the stock covers using the long center bolts. I tried my hand at polishing them on my buffing wheel, they are okay. A pro who knew what he was doing could really make them nice.

But that lousy service has been giving me trouble attaching pics to email I send out. Bounces everytime. I'm not too versed in doing this sort of thing you can probably see by now?
